Gears of war artist to Direct Thundercats CG movie

Artist of games such as Gears of war, UT3 and a small RTS franchise called Command and conquer, Jerry O'Flaherty will be the director of the CG animated movie of the Thundercats. If he does half as well as he did on these games on the movie sign me up for an advanced copy. The movie will be gracing the screens courtesy of Warner and the small bit I know about the story is that it will be about the coming of age of Lion-O and his role as leader of the Thundercats.

I tell you if movies of all of my favorite cartoon series keep coming to the big screen this really makes getting older worth while. All they need to do is make a movie of Voltron... well 2 as they will need to do both the cats and the space one I will be ready for heaven.
