Alienware's Monster Wraparound Gaming Monitor

All I can say is WOW.... hehe and not the game.

Posted on Digg today was an article from Wired's Gadget Lab Blog about a prototype of Alienwares new Gaming screen that was on display at CES 2008 (Consumer Electronics Show).


As you can see this thing is huge (look at the mouse in the bottom left of the image for scale) not only that it is curved to add extra atmosphere to the game. The one on display is a prototype and the article at Wired goes into it issues, but it is due for release in the US in late 2008 at the earliest... I hope we get it in Australia.

I would love to get a few and link them up to get some crazy gaming going on looking to the left in a racing game to see who is becide you would be out of this world. Though this may be a very expensive solution.
