Gizmodo reporter banned from CES 2008

Gizmodo press delegates at CES 2008 were banned for life after having maybe a little to much fun at CES with a TV-B-Gone.

The Gizmodo representative was found to be turning off TV walls and monitors at multiple booths and even events across CES, according to a statement supplied to the Cnet News blog.

Also in the statement there was mention of Gizmodo and Gawker Media the parent body of Gizmodo may face sanctions from CES as well.

This is crazy there is footage and what i would call a weak apology in the Gizmodo site with video footage of what they got up to on the site here.

Looked like heaps of fun, but at a major event like CES was probably not the place for it. Better to take the TV-B-Gone to a local sports bar and start turning of the Friday night sports.
